What is Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC)?

AAC is a green and sustainable building material and stands for Autoclaved Aerated Concrete. It is manufactured from natural raw materials. Aircrete was developed in 1914 by Swedish engineers. They discovered that adding fine aluminium powder to cement, lime, water and finely ground sand caused the mixture to expand considerably. Most common product densities vary between 350-700 kg per cubic meter. The finished Aircrete product is four to five times the volume of the raw materials used, making it extremely resource-efficient and environmentally friendly. The energy consumed in the production process is only a fraction compared to the production of other materials.

Fly ash:      

 

carbon content of less than 8 percent, SiO2 content in fly ash more than 45%, 

Loss on Ignition ≤ 7%, radioactive should be in line with provisions of GB6763.

 

Cement: 

 

should meet the national standard is 325 or # 425 # ordinary portland cement 

or Portland cement.

 

Quick Lime:

 

should meet JC/T621-1996 (Portland building products with quicklime)standard.

 

Aluminum powder (Water dosage form): 

 

according to JC/T407-91 standard (aerated concrete aluminium powder)
